On behalf of Councilwoman Cynthia Lee-Sheng, the entire Council, and the Parish Administration, Jefferson Parish invites you to participate in a public meeting focused on the next phase of planning for the redevelopment of Fat City.
The first phase of this planning effort resulted in the Fat City Redevelopment Strategic Implementation Plan, which the Parish Council will consider for adoption at its September 2, 2009 meeting. The redevelopment plan included several implementation strategies, and a key strategy is new zoning.

Please join us for a workshop where we will present our ideas for new zoning and ask you for your input. This workshop is scheduled for Monday, September 14, 2009 at the Omni Bank Training Room, 3000 Ridgelake Drive in Metairie. For your convenience, we are offering the same 2-hour session at two times, the first beginning at 3:30 pm and the second starting at 6:30 pm.
